Question 1

How do your products add value or differ from competitor products?

Accepted Answer

We design products that can be applied in a wide variety of situations, so you don't need to buy and stock a dozen different type of locks in the same unit. We pack as many features as possible to achieve this. Our 3PTP is an excellent example of this philosophy.

Question 2

What is 3PTP?

Accepted Answer

LOTO Safety designed and launched the 3PTP (3 Point Traceability Padlock) in 2013 based on feedback from customers who need to deploy huge quantities of LOTO padlocks during commissioning of equipment and machinery. LOTO programs use 3 different key systems: (1) Keyed Different locks, (2) Keyed Alike, and (3) Keyed Different with Master Keys. Key features include: key system molded on padlock body and key for immediate lost-key action; key numbers engraved on padlock body and key for easy tracing in large LOTO programs; color coded key jackets for quick identification and retrieval; and weather resistant design with key cover and neoprene bushes to prevent dirt, moisture and grit ingress.

Question 3

We are located in a different country, how can you assist us in identifying the correct LOTO products we need for isolating different energy sources in our workplace?

Accepted Answer

There are 3 ways: (1) Use the LOTO Assessment tool in the Resources section on the website (requires registration) — it provides access to hundreds of pics from assessments with model numbers. (2) Mail pics of your energy source for a free recommendation with no obligation to buy. (3) On-site assessment available for customers who cover travel, accommodation and related costs.

Question 4

Do you conduct free assessments within Uzbekistan?

Accepted Answer

Yes, free assessments are conducted for Uzbekistan companies. If the assessment period stretches beyond one working day, a few conditions apply.

Question 5

Do you provide certified training?

Accepted Answer

Registered members have unlimited access to a database of LOTO & Electrical Safety PPTs, documents and guides to create awareness in their workplace. Certified training is aimed to be provided in the future.

Question 6

How do we order products — are they available from local distributors, or do we order directly from you?

Accepted Answer

You can easily order by browsing our catalog, adding the products you need to your cart, and submitting a quote request. Our team will get back to you with pricing and delivery details. We also welcome partnerships with local distributors and resellers.

Question 7

Are your products patented?

Accepted Answer

All new designs are patented or patent pending across several countries to prevent knockoffs. A legal team initiates action against any company attempting to pirate the designs.
